About me
I would like to
introduce myself
I would like to
introduce myself
I am an Internationally Certified Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher (International Yoga Alliance)
and mother of three children.
I have been passionately practicing yoga for over 15 years.
Like most people, I have practically only focused on the asanas, the physical part of yoga.
When my Indian yoga teacher taught me that asanas make up only 10% of yoga at all,
my astonishment was great.
My training with Prashant Pandey, who himself was under the supervision of his guru
Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, gave me a completely new perspective and
awakened my love for yoga philosophy.
I have since come to understand the following:
Yoga is a way of life.
It's not just about having a healthy body that you feel good in.
It's also about your view of and how you interact with other people.
Because the goal of yoga is this: To alleviate suffering.
Both on a physical and emotional level.
In my retreat, I also take a holistic approach for this reason;
from physical asanas to pranayama (breathing techniques) to meditation.
It's about bringing your body and your mind into harmony and
to engage in your own inner journey.
I want to share my passion and all that I have learned with you.
By the way, retreat means retreat.
Retreat from everyday life, from your routine, for a few hours or days.
A short time out, during which you look at your life from a different perspective can work wonders.
That's exactly what I want to give you:
Time to let the mundane be far away for awhile
and space to relieve stress and recharge your batteries.
You can then return to your everyday life full of verve.
As in any profession, you never stop learning as a yoga teacher.
That's why I read a lot and regularly take part in yoga classes myself.
In this way, I not only constantly expand my knowledge, but also gather new ideas -
which I can then share with others on my retreats.
